"to you..from God"
Well, I was like that too, and it started all of a sudden; just randomly out of the blue. No warning or explanation, I felt so angry, angry at God. But I knew that the only one at fault was me, knowing fully that God is perfect, I knew that all the blame was towards myself. But as I realized this I tried to reach out to God, but then the sins I have committed held me back with guilt, telling me that "you're just going to do it again anyway". It didn't help much and as what happens when you pull away from God, you tend to lose balance in many parts of your life.
School started and already I was beginning to feel extremely irritated. I felt alone now since even my own group of friends seemed different than from summer and I was acting in a way that wasn't me. I tried to reach out to God but I couldn't really do it. Eventually I just wanted to leave and change schools (all of this happening in the span of 2 hours, sad I know). But above all my biggest worry was how far I felt from God. When not with God, I couldn't be who I was, sin seemed like it wasn't so bad, it didn't look like it was going to be the death of me. And by death I meant the real death, not the physical one that everyone goes through, but death when you are no longer with God. I was really lost and wasn't looking forward to the rest of the school year. I was even contemplating to selfishly break away from the friends who reached out to me at school and just a be a loner, why? Because I was afraid of being influenced in the wrong ways, because I refused to look at the good in other people, because I refused to accept that God was my strength, because I refused to accept that He loves me, because I refused to love my brothers and sister that same way He loves me.
And through all this, God spoke to me. As always He arrived precisely when he meant to (LOTR :P if anyone caught that). And He did it through KnowGodKnowLove as I was browsing through Tumblr:
to you..from God
Dear [your name], I miss you. I think about you all the time. I just want you to know how much I love you, how much I want to be there for you every step of the way. I am so proud of you. If you need me, you know how to find me… Love, God
You know, I'm not too worried anymore about bad influences or stuff like that, I'll be who I am and enjoy the people God has blessed me with. True, things may not be the cleanest, but you know I have to remember one of God's most special commands: Love one another as I have loved you. And we'll have loads of fun, I'll make the best out of things, but you know, as God has always been there for me, these people are my brothers and sisters and as tough as they act, I'll always have their backs.
Maybe this time God wants me to be the one who influences.
-Gabriel

Suffering
“Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.” -Romans 5:3-4
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." -James 1:2-4
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us.” -Romans 8:18
"Pain is temporary but God's love is eternal." -YFC
"Never waste your pains and sufferings, offer them up for the salvation of souls." -Father Larre
"When we struggle in our lives, we sometimes say, “Lord! Why is it that I must suffer, why is it that I must go through such hardships! Why why why!” Some of us may think that it is possibly some sort of bad karma for what we have done. Some think God is punishing us. However, have you ever thought to yourself that He is simply just answering your prayer? As I listen to the song, ‘Hosanna - Hillsong’, there is a line that prays, “Break my heart for what break yours!”
Today in RLC, I realized something during an activity where we raised our arms up like our Lord Jesus on the cross. That through His most high love, He hung on the cross, alone. As we raised our arms up, and struggled to keep them as high as possible, I realized our Lord Jesus Christ did not intend that we carry our cross alone. It is through His connecting love, that as we kept our arms up, and joined together to rest our arms upon one another, our struggles became one within the community, His church. And that it was with His crucifixion on the cross, that He truly brought the world together, that we may no longer experience our struggles alone, but that we may rest upon our fellow brothers and sisters, who strive with us every step of the way with our Lord guiding us. When we feel alone, understand that we are not, for His love is infinite and universal, and that through the sacrament of the most Holy Eucharist, His love connects us further than what we can possibly understand. Our struggle is not alone, nor is it impossible to conquer, for we are a stronghold of Christ, lead by the power of the Holy Spirit, and built by the Father Almighty." -Isaac Guevera
"To ask why a good God would allow suffering is to ask why a good doctor would put a needle in the backside of an infant to inoculate them. The infant doesn’t understand it, all he knows is that it is horribly painful. He can’t understand that in a way this inoculation is going to prepare him for something in the future that he is not even aware of. And in the same way, God is a God of intention. He is a God of meaning, of purpose. He is brimming with intention and meaning. So we can rest assured that although the purposes of suffering might be hidden from us in the present life, His reasons are always wise, they are always specific, and they are always good." -Joni Eareckson Tada
"...in suffering love becomes crystallised; the greater the suffering, the purer the love." -St. Faustina

Christrianity
"It isn't about God waiting for you and you taking the initiative to find him, no, our God is the one looking for us. He never gives up on us and he is continually trying to find his people. Before you began searching for Him, He was already searching for you." -Father Augustine
"The purpose of Christianity is not to avoid difficulty, but to produce a character adequate to meet it when it comes. It does not make life easy; rather it tries to make us great enough for life." -James L. Christensen

Procrastination
“Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” -John 4:35
"Think of procrastination as a wedge that the devil slowly puts into your heart. At first, you allow a little procrastination maybe with not doing your homework or a job that you need to do. Over time, the wedge wedges in so far deep that it has created a big gap in your heart. What you have allowed is yourself to compromise over and over again.
From what started as delaying doing your work can turn into you getting fired. Not doing a favor for someone that asked you to do something can lead to ill feelings. Procrastination is the start of what could be destruction and behind every little bit of work behind it is the devil.
God calls us to be obedient and do things when we are told, not wait til the last minute. The key thought I want you to get from these next few post is “delayed obedience is still disobedience.” So don’t delay and do it God’s way." -KnowGodKnowLove
"From that point, what was a good relationship came tumbling downhill because of one conflict. That’s really sad but it’s the reality we live in. The Bible talks about reaping into what we sow. If we are sowing into bitterness with that person, we will continue to have ill feelings toward that person and it will be harder to resolve that friendship. Remember the wedge illustration I used in the first part. What starts out as bitterness can turn into a broken relationship that goes unresolved because you and the other person were unable to work things out. Once there is one shed of bitterness and anger in our hearts, the devil uses that as a foothold (opportunity) to break the love that we once had for that person.
Now what does this have to do with procrastination? Everything. Jesus taught that reconciling an offended brother/sister should be done immediately upon our remembrance of the situation." -KnowGodKnowLove
“Settle matters quickly.” -Matthew 5:25
“Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.” -Ephesians 4:26
"The longer we let things go, the stronger those feelings of bitterness and anger become.
What relationships do you need to come to a resolution with? A past boyfriend/girlfriend? A friend you into a fight with? Family?
Go and make things right because delayed obedience is disobedience." -KnowGodKnowLove

Prayer
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 4:6-7
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” -Matthew 7:7-8"What is prayer? Prayer is our direct line with heaven and a communication that allows us to talk one on one with God. it is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. when we talk to God, we acknowledge His presence and make known that He is BIG in our lives.
We often come to the Lord with legitimate requests for healing, conversions, and needs and yet the answers we hope for often do not come. We pray because we know that God hears us and because we desire to see results. We should pray by faith, trusting God. We should pray consistently, trusting God.
Take some time and ask yourself, “do I only go to God when I need something from Him or do I pray on a consistent basis?” Convicted question for some. Do you only call on Him when you need a job, money to pay that next mortgage, for you to get together with this person you like or for some kind of miracle? Just think if you had a kid and they only came to you when they wanted or needed something and ignored you the other times. Not too cool is it? Therefore God calls us to pray continually and be joyful always." -KnowGodKnowLove
"If someone prays for patience, you think God would give them patience or does He give them opportunities to be patient? If someone prayed for courage, does He give them courage or does He give them opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for their family to be together, does He zap them with warm, fuzzy feelings or does He give them opportunities to love each other?" -via Kevin Solis
"Prayer is conversation with God, but what is conversation without listening." -Grace Alonsabe
"Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I." -Psalm 61:1-2
"You haven’t been praying? Why, because you haven’t had time? But you do have time. Furthermore, what sort of works will you be able to do if you have not meditated on them in the presence of the Lord, so as to put them in order? Without that conversation with God, how can you finish your daily work with perfection? Look, it is as if you claimed you had no time to study because you were too busy giving lessons. Without study you cannot teach well.
Prayer has to come before everything. If you do not understand this and put it into practice, don’t tell me that you have no time: it’s simply that you do not want to pray." -St. Jose Maria Escriva "The Furrow #448"
"Next time you pray any kind of prayer, whether it be for the resolution of healing, or for a house, or for a car, or for a husband, or for a family conflict, or for a solution to a problem, tell Him he can say yes or no. Because in the end, you’re a winner. Every time." -Bo Sanchez (You Have The Power to Create Love)
"The sweetest time of the day is when you pray, because you are talking to the One who loves you most." -via Erin Tangco
"I pray because I can’t help myself. I pray because I’m helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time- waking and sleeping. It doesn’t change God- it changes me." -C.S. Lewis

“Where do I go looking for love?”
"If you feel like you are the only person on this Earth that can’t find a mate, lemme tell you, God has someone for everyone. He looked at Adam sleeping in the garden and saw that he needed someone to accompany him and gave him Eve. Man was not hunting and looking for girls when God blessed him. No, the Bible says man was in a deep sleep.
Now you must be asking, “so you want me to go to sleep and when I wake up, Megan Fox will appear?” No. This “sleep” time is our preparation prior to being ready for that person. This is the time that God wants to work in us to work on character flaws, junk that’s in our heart and a time to get rid of the baggage that we don’t want to take with us when He reveals that special someone." -Joshua De Garcia, KnowGodKnowLove
Let God be your matchmaker.

Destiny
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' 12Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." -Jeremiah 29:11-13
"Destiny is something not be to desired and not to be avoided. a mystery not contrary to reason, for it implies that the world, and the course of human history, have meaning." -Dag Hammarskjold

Forgiveness

“For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” -Matthew 6:14-15

He forgave us all our sins, 14having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross." -Colossians 2:13-14

"Forgiveness is a command. Not a suggestion."
We need God to help us forgive.
There is no penance that can fully pay the price of ours sins other than the blood of Jesus Christ.
There is no sin that God cannot forgive.
